Dublin Ireland in 48 hours 2018 Part 1

We used to stay right down town but now our company put us far in the bush so at night we have to take a taxi back no fun but

When we woke up we were 2 so we could walk all the way to the action the heart of Dublin
40 minutes walk there
We have seen nothing yet beside the guiness factory brewery and all its territories
I have been to Dublin before so I do have my certificate for guiness expert drafter if you dont have your certificate go up and see it all.

In this area as well you have the oldest pub of Dublin that I will visit on my next visit.
We were suppose to stop there on our way back but we didnt...

 somebody special was in town
prince Harry
3 helicopter
or hwo knows

When we arrived downtown we stop at
Le petit Parisien for a croque monsieur and a needed café au lait
very quaint place very cute
afterwards we walk on the pedestrian street
and went shopping at Penny Mart the first Primark I need a hoody for tonight a the breeze was cold when the sun was out so not to freeze tonight i bought 1 grey hoody

Ireland had never been so hot
Lately they had suffer from heatwave and so did we
so we had to stop for a pint somewhere
but my friend a Belgium girl doesnt even drink beer luckily she could find a nice pino grigio

It wa happy hour in all Dublin
afterwards we went to look for this place I wanted to return

no one knew what it was but but but but
my memory doesnt fail me yet
i finally found the place and my friend agreed I did give all the right informations
the Powers court
the stairs of the powers court
and all around tons of great places to eat and drink
so we look around and afterwards I said you can not come to Dublin and not see Temple bar
and after we will come back here to eat
so here we went

Temple bar street in a temple bar
and sang our heart out tapping on the floor and be jolly all night long
we had so much fun that we didnt realize it was around ninish plus when we got out of there

lots of girls getting married having fun before the D day so they rent these pedal machine and go around town doing crazy things

 Temple bar area

too late too eat no where to eat
I was a bit sad as I didnt want to wake up in the middle of the night hungry and not able to go back to sleep
lucky for us, the taxi driver was kind enough to take us to this great restaurant but the chairs were already up on the tables
however when we got to our hotel in front of the Dublin jail, we saw there was a restaurant open
lucky for us
there were a dozen men having a feast and this is why the restaurant was still open
yeah !
We had a fantastic pizza and when to bed  very content of our day in Dublin.

even guys from vienna were downtown

The next morning we grab a taxi and went to catch our tour bus,

I ate at the hotel but where all the tour bus are you can easily grab a coffee and a bite to eat and make sure you talk to the supervisor to stand in the right lane for your bus to have a great place to see it all
Our destination was
the castle of Mallahide and
Howth
a nearby area
26 euros  a half a day tour with greyline

To tell you the truth we took a half a day tour but we could have easily go on our own

and really if going on a tour with kids and infant is your type of thing go on

I didnt think it was fare that we had to wait for those family who have no respect for others than themselves .
selfish individuals.
there are young kids who would love to babbysit your kids while you are on vacations
so dam it call one up!
all we did is to check those kids in case they fell of the bus and we could not hear the irish guide telling us interesting things.
no
the next time if i do book another tour.... I will definetely ask if there is such disrespectful individual

kid under 10 years have no place in a tour!

they should just do tour for families but this ruins it all for all the other travelers

this being said by the time they all got in the room in the castle to receive the information I was about to leave; really a pain in the butt

so the castle was cute, the history as well, I can say  I visited a castle in ireland
the garden was beautiful but the time left to visit it was too short unfortunately
too short

so we went to Howth.
There the guide was giving us only half an hour tour to see it all
no
since there was another gorup that book for the entire day we decided to stay but without the guided tour and we left Howth at 5
without any regret it was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenary

nice little restaurants around the pier
sailing cruise you could do
you could spend the day on the island and come back lots of things to do
but my friend had a blister so we took it easy that day
you can also go up the hill they have lovely path to follow and the view is amazing

I recommand this visit in this quaint little place to relax.
We stop for lunch  and enJoyed it
The day day we were there, there was a sail race and a speed boat race
so we could not take the tour to go around the island but it was ok we enjoyed ourself there
and if you want to go by train its only 7 euros instead of 26 euros we paid but I would not know about how to get to the castle from there so
I love the ocean so for me it was a lovely day indeed!
I might go back there on another lay over in lovely Dublin.
