my brief story of the eclipse 2015

Flight Calgary Canada to London England

Meeting a new crew don't know any of the crew members for my long flight of over 8 hours 30 minutes.

Told the pilots about the eclipse
They didnt know about it...
Told them if they see anything during the flight to call me
Met a passenger who was keen as me to see it and could wait for this moment
He had all the directions and the time...

Flight went on
Since I have been on the road for 5 days out of /6
The notion of time is ...difficult

The pilots finally call us in the back to go and see it in the cockpit
Grab my camera in a hurry since we are about to serve the breakfast
Got in the cockpit.
I completely forgot not to look at the sun directly
got almost blind coming in the cockpit
The pilots were wearing their glasses
I didnt expect something so bright
 Atouch!
sun was super bright
so bright

behind their viser I saw this
unfortunately
try to take a picture thru the viser
Afterwards by putting my camera outside the viser
I don't know why I saw those dots like this
dots at the end of the sun ray???
I had to go back to work to serve breakfast before landing

maybe this is a second of the eclipse...
waited waited but

this was weird to see those red spots

Before I served  breakfast try to get the passenger with me to get a window so he could see it we wetn around the plane in a hurry...
did not see the full eclipse
wrong timing
He was sitting on the wrong side of the plane
...
sad for him and me
did not get the chance to witness something great
why did the pilot not make an annoucement?
why did the purser did not make an annoucement?
shock me
but
since I didnt know this crew
I had to keep a low profile
and miss a great opportunity
but I saw the start of it
from above the sky
