That morning I walked straight to the ocean for a long long long time with Starlett
low tide here is amazing

came back for coffee and breakfast
then went walking in Métis-sur-mer on the road this time where you can see beautiful houses and nice sea shore view.

It was partially foggy here, so strange the weather near the shore
you can come back for a second breakfast iii or go to Janis café shop for a latté
or simply go back and rest and look at your pictures...

my god, if you are a painter this is the place
then we talked some more with my sister and her guests from Belgium and pack our stuff
because today we wanted to come back from the long way where its very scenic
you have to take the 132
and watch for the sign
LA ROUTE DES NAVIGATEURS it has a captain wheel on the picture
its quite pittoresque to go inside those old fisherman villages
get your google map ready and wikipedia for historic litterature.

so pack a lunch or stop buy one more time at the poissonnerie to make a nice shrimp roll to eat at one of the numerous picnic table near the coast. Smoke salmon what ever anything fresh and cheaper than the restaurants you will encounter. I was so hsock to see the extreme over price its just a turn off
but like i said we do have beautiful rpduit du terroir to try out nice wine or beer
so be warn or you will ruin your trip with unpleasant over price bill and over cook lobster...if you know what I mean better ask the guy at the poissonerie to prepare it for you...
try the burgot with a nice beer from the region
and pease do not buy your seafood stuff at the main grocery store like IGA or METRO
THEY TASTE LIKE SHIT
i dont know but we bought some mussels and they were horrible not ounce but twice so be warn dont ruin your beautiful trip
go to the gite du Grand Metis
go buy some product at the poissonerie
or catch the mobile grocery girl hr has some nice local prodcut in her little truck
ask the gite owner she could probably call her for you

at the gite you have nice picnic tables or for a small fee use the BBQ of the owner

so far amazing i have been walkin in the water straight line

you have many opportunities to go take a ferry and visit some of the islands of the region or simply go whale watching or go back to Quebec city by ferry ...or go home and come back a next time!
