Rome #13
I went to Rome without any plan this time and luckily for us we arrived on time.
We waited for the bus to bring the crew to the hotel like usual and the wait of the room had slicely improve but not much.
There is a lot of traffic now in Rome
Woke up after 3 hours of sleep to bring my friend to the grocery store
its raining we stop over for a cappucino and some little cornetti
Then we went to Castroni to get some crema di pistachio and some
chocolate spread from milano omg
Then some wine cheese biscotti and white chocolate for my mom
Went back to the hotel to pitched up another crew member who decided to join us
Luckily I took the reservation to Emma pizzeria
On our way there we stoppped to hotel de Russie to show them an exquisite place of mine
went on to the spanish stairs that are reopened and went to piazza navona to go to campo di fiori
then we tried to locate the hidden pizzeria.
GPS are good but when it comes to small back alley you depend on a friend
and it happened.
The guy at Rosculi recognised me so I ask him for further information it was really simple
straight ahead and there.
And omg I found a little gem place that I will defenitely go back for a wine lesson
but on my way there my friends decided to stop to a store and told me they will meet me there
as I always like to get to a place on time but they got lost.
How can that be
Went back to the store they are gone
oh well too bad so sad
i didnt walk all the way here for nothing
and Im hungry
so I went to sit at my table outside ordered a beer and wait for my friends to arrive
Its ok Im here to try this restaurant that someone had mentioned to me on the plane.
We kind of have the same taste Rosculi in common Il Forno ...the carciofi ala juiva..at Gardina.
so I really wanted to try it.
Well I was impress especially with my 3 crew members all fan of BIO organic... like I said as a joke
here there was plenty to satisfy them with special flour for their special stomach.
perfetto!
but where are they Im about to order my meal and tuff luck with them.

There is a saying in french that all the road leads to Rome and its true
We ordered the zucchini flowers I ask the waiter to choose for me
2 of us order this
2 of us were a little sad
Didnt taste zucchini flower but mozzarella too much mozzarella and a bit pale on the fry stuff
oh no I would have wish they would have been great. ANyway we came here for pizza.
I hope the pizza taste better please
I go again with the waiter s choice
Pizza was tasty juicy and great
however this being said
I still have a little heart for Rosculi crispy doe
and the tasty pizza at il forno
but love the place
this is where to go to be seen and have a great meal
you need to stop before or after to this wine bar for sure
but I dont know the crew started to walk back at a speed of a speeding bullet
my headache was gone could we stay some more
what ever...
one of us had 2 pizza it was so delicious

The way back was awful they were tired and grumpy and didnt want to walk all the way back
I was still enjoying myself too bad so sad
I wanted them to taste the gelato at romana but they decided to take another road because they tought I was going in the wrong direction too bad so sad they miss the gelato
but when I arrived at the hotel I remember there is a gelato place as good as romana next to the hotel so we finish the night with a great gelat
and just go
