Me
Happy, I had just finish writing a letter to the gang in Montreal  and this is how the show all started well kind of .
The interest everyone had from what we were doing around the world.
I came back,  the company went bankrupt so while I stayed at my parents, sleeping on the floor, thinking of my next move, I couldn't stand the TV program my parents were  watching, so I decided to make my own stories from my life.
A friend give me a computer, lost hundreds of pages while learning how to do that than  found a job and went teaching in Korea but nuclear war was not my cup of tea, I came back found a job with another Airline. I spoke enough Korean to get myself a great job. While I was staying in Toronto, Radio-Canada  were very  interested to produce my script but at this time they had no money to produce this kind of show.

In 1995 it was not to good for budget this kind of script. They told me to see a private producer.
So I went. A friend of a friend knew someone in the field than after our first meeting they told me to make it more for a television series. It will bring more money. So, I did;   shrink everything for 9  show and went back to meet with the producers. They presented me someone with experience to write with me. While the producer went to get some cappuccino, the very popular writer in Montreal, with an ugly beard and an old hat,  told me if I didn't like it there, we could go somewhere else.

I was shock. How back stabbing is that? Right away, I knew this guy was trouble.  He would do the same with me for sure afterwards. So, when the producer ask me what I taught about him, I told him: I was not interested. So, he ask me to find someone else; I did. An English writer in Toronto, very popular at this time with a law production but the Montreal producer didn't want to hear about an English writer.

Months went by and suddenly, I heard they were doing the show without me. I went to see a friend in this domain, he told me: this is one of the biggest box in Montreal, I can not go against them and it will cost you lots of money to fight back.

I went back home and wrote the book. Screw you all Avanti company and I publish my book before anything happen.

Meanwhile,  there was the agent of Jim Carey who was interested to receive a copy of 2 episodes, so I drop in at his house in LA and give him my script but at this time Jim's career was rising so they had no time for me.  I had no agent either.
On my reserve days, as a flight attendant, I spend my entire energy on writing the book so no one could steel my rights, my ideas and to forget the French guy I was supposed to married. He told me his wife was dead but she wasn't. Needless to say, I needed to forget my love life.

I published the book myself. Sold it, in a few book stores but getting my money was even worst. The book stores will wait for me to call them to get my money.

I made one big mistake with Renaud Bray who wanted my book but when they send my check they had double the price of the book and I didn't like that one bit. They didn't ask me about rising the price of the book. So I got out.  I went on selling my book just by talking to one another. I don't call myself a writer. I am a story teller, so, this is why I didn't want to sell it that much money. Silly me.

The readers of my book all wanted to read the second tome.
I said yes why not. I could write for ever....

The book is done in French. and translated it in English to the best of my knowledge. I can not afford a translator remember, I am a flight attendant!

Tome 2 is even better than tome one but it is sitting on a shelve somewhere; very sad indeeed.

Meanwhile, when I join this other airline, I did bought a house, I kind of turn the page but if only you knew what happened with this house your hair will rise up on your head,

Its been 9 years of hell.  Living without water. I even had a boyfriend who got kidnap. Nothing works on the love side at all ,so I spend my time writing.

I am almost finishing my house chapter but the chapter  I cheeriest is the most is
Air Nation
I was so furious when the other airline show came out it was another big farce of this great job we do but what can I say, this is how people perceived us unfortunately:It's sad.

My television show had a purpose:
To unite people around the world by learning, meeting and talking to people of different genders, religion and backgrounds.
Maybe one day, someone will come across these pictures and will see the potential, if not, my stories will be left to those interested to read them.

Yes, I'm french Canadian. I choose to write in English as it is a universal second language to reach out as much people as possible.

Air nation a free ticket around the world
A people story with it's up and down.
