This time I took a few days with my brother and sister's family to go down to Quebec city to celebrate my mom's 90th anniversary.

We left with my dog we could not get a baby sitter.

Fairmount hotel is the only hotel chain that except dogs for a

$60.

extra

so we tried it.

First experience with the dog but not just a small hotel no a fancy one.My sister in law only choose the best.

When we arrived in Quebec my dog did a spectacular entrance: she was really good.

she took the elevator like a big girl.

and we hurried to go inside our room.

when I say that people dont understand

so i just say she is a mountain dog mix with newfoundland

pyrenee des Maremmes is identical to an abruzzo...

but she has the size of a new foundland dog.

So we were getting to get out for lunch and leabe Starlett. We tried it we got out

Starlett barked

so I decided to stay with her.

I tried to open the mini bar but it was broken

I was very thirsty.

Ordering in this hotel room was out of a question The service was out of this world so I did not.

I decided to go buy myself a lunch, water and coke.

I hurried to the park

Starlett and I live in the mountain in the forest she is not used to see people beside family members.

People love Starlett but there is still a danger to be next to a dog that you dont even know.

I could not walk 100m without being stopped

Starlett was popular

After finding nothing to drink or eat I went back to the hotel.

and a pipi for Starlett then I tried to look for a

depanneur

these are little corner store with essential stuff from the grocery

but there was none in sight in the city of Quebec!

There was so many people

it was crazy. Quebec vity was jam pack.

The weather was sticky and too hot.

I finally reach my mom on her cell. She came to my rescue.

My mom hold the dog for me so I could grab a poutine.

The price of a poutine is usually $7.00 to 10.00.

We were never loke that before.

we were generous welcoming and true to pur origine and now quite deceiving to see this.

it doesnt reflect a good image of us.

I finally found a spot after runnjng around for ever.

they were so so horrible and the sauce was cold I had no ketchup or vinegar to put on either.

We went back to the hotel.

I went out again for Starlett.

The lobby of the hotel was jammed pack of people.

Quick we need to go out.

What was I thinking in the middle of the city in this grand hotel. I was too nervous my dog will leave a gift somewhere I was extremely tired.

My family went for dinner

and unfortunately I had to stayed in with Starlett.

No dog sitter around.

It was beautiful just to watch the roof of this hotel castle and to look at the secret garden.

OMG they went for dinner and came back.

My mom and my sister were sharing the room.

My mom 90 years old

When they came back my mom said her dinner was not that great that I did not miss anything but she was happy to see her grand son who live in Quebec.

I was starving I ate the piece of birthday cake she brought me in 1 minute.

True it was dry and tasteless but better than those louzy french fries.

My sister blasted the room with the air conditioning and all night long my mom and I froze our butt.

Starlett had a good night.

She is so nice.

The next morning we left for Grand Metis.

I woke up early to walk around the city with Starlett.

We finally went back to the hotel in a hurry Starlett had hurt herself.

She was bleeding.

I managed to put some blanket on the floor and kept her in the tiny washroom while I check why she was bleeding and then the bleeding stop and she was fine to walk around again.

Everyone at the hotel wanted to see her and pet her especially old people, sick people and all the American in the hotel. We even squeeze ourselves in an elevator because the lady wanted Starlett to ride with them.

It was too much.

We enjoyed our time in the grand salon taking some more picture.

When all the family finish their brunch at the hotel, they

went walking around but this time, we preferred to stay in because Starlett paw was fragile and it was too hot for her.

We finally left around 12.

We stopped to St Michel De Bellechasse for a great lunch at the Pub of the quai at the marina.

it was delicious and it was very pretty around and Starlett stayed in the car sleeping with fresh air from the ocean keeping her nice and cold.
