English is the language for travelers and for local people to exchange with one another and understand each other better.
Germany needs to open ots heart to the world.

Ok I had a lay over in Mainz of 48 hours.
On my Second day I decided to do
A little outing along the Rhine and the Moselle.
Lets go again!
I have not finish 1 blog that I am already gone for another destination...I will fix all that when I come back with a few days off. Now I just have 24 hours.
train are expensive in Germany as compare to the rest of Europe.
Wilkommen
Now a trip to Germany
without a translator app is no fun for the single tourist as all the informations are in english.
at the train station
as well
in town:
at historic site and people know very little english.
I have done the Rhine cruise
many years ago and since its been 3 times 48 hours eachtine I have done Mainz this month so I decided to splur a litlle and do an activoty to close my July month.
I had cruise up all the way to to Boppard already on a 24 hours lay over
I was crazy...
but now by train its
faster
more expensive
but you stop where ever you want.
as long as you want.
but make sure you pick destination to stop on the way
as it is on one side of the river
and some stop for the return that are in the same side of the Rhein....
and if you want to stop over night at a castle or in a camping ground options are there same for carrying your bike or your Louis Vuitton suitcase in the air conditioning section or not
also regional train are slower but very enjoyable
1 to 2 hour
Koblenz where 2 river meets
La Moselle
et le Rhin
