Rome Italy #5 A Vatican-Jewish ghetto-

We arrived late like sual
went to bed at 1 oclock in the afternoon
someone rang in my room and woke me up at 4 : 30
5:00 I was out the door to explore beautiful Rome


so its Sunday where will i find a camera chip
best bet
the vatican area
al right
eureka
found a chip for 9 euro for a 8 G only but this will save my day

so since Im in the vatican area might as well say hello
to god
its Sunday
so lucky me
no one is there
 no line up
maybe too hot or too late
perfecto!
i  just have to pass the security check
so ugly so imposing here those security equipment
not sure if I like

but now these days this is the reality of our time

when I passed by to grab my stuff and come across the Swiss guard
I try to zoom in to take a picture
my camera is broken
MY CAMERA IS BROKEN !

I dont get it
the security at the vatican
broke my camera

my life just crumble into pieces
dont have the money to buy a new one
what will i be doing for now on

i try i try i try told a security man but he didnt understood
told a priest at the confessional he didnt speak french english
well he did but didnt  understand
that the vatican broke my camera...

I have to take picture with a cell phone
300 pictures with a cell phone
I prayed all day for a miracle that my camera would work but it did not happen.



COME WITH ME AND WALK ROME....

this place is usually full of people 

well this is what you look like when you only sleep 3 hours

added security on top of them

police everywhere but

crime scene no I arrived and this lady was on the ground

here i wanted to show you the mixter of the archictecture

remember 1 church 1 restaurant 1 church 1 restaurant 2 church 2 restaurant.....
so many empty church that could welcomes the refugee who can have a priest and some nuns taking care of them in the church
but now thye rather have 1,000 + churches empty with no soul in it
is this how our religion is when you see all this
i prefer to be budhist
please tell your priest to do something
they could have shelter in there some help these chruches are so big they could definetely use a part of it the basement if they have too

so on one side its trastevere area I visited the other time
now in this side of this sisio bridge you find the
jewish ghetto of Rome
interesting to know there is a large population of jewish leaving in Rome having their own ghetto
we are far from your typical ghetto like the  bronx here

so you walk down this street and reach iut the ghetto street on your right along this road are nice quaint little store
in this area as well price are really reasonable

a beautiful romantic city couples are ever where this is where you realzied you are alone
isnt it cute boutique

graffitis every where thinking of my sister she likes it

i like th edarness of the marble of this church very deep

inside was very lean of decor

ah the famous little street of the ghetto
its quite special
full of restaurant that leads at the end to italian ruins

now this is definetely interesting

look above the restaurant you can read old stuff on the wall

you actually have jewish water in the jewish ghetto serving pizza how peculiar

in the middle of no where people had learn to preserve the relics of the past i just love it

here they are under escavation to find some more ruins

i just love to see this ruins and pine nut trees

maybe i will come back for bach concert

wonder whats inside

yes there is an immense  synagogue here but no time to see it al 

i was quite dehydrated needed to stop had dinner and something to drink
here the speciality is artichokes
i love artichokes

love to try new things

quite plain in rome

the doe is not my favorite its like a pita bread again
not lucky
i think if i want real pizza like home i just have to go in a fast food pizza joint for a piece to go

i mean you are in the country of basilic can you put down more than 2 leaves

but having dinner in the ghetto was a nice feel to it  so it was ok

rich jewish american form the states spedning a wonderful time in Roma...need to say more.....

i think i will try this one next time im in the area typicial scene

violin music serenade while having dinner is nice too
