Rome Italy # 3

still extremely hot in Rome

really summer is not a good time to visit its so hot
but if you can manage the heat this is the perfect place for you

no matter what I say I will do anything to be in Rome iii

Another long flight
my body clock is all confuse

7 hours and a half later
1 hour off from the plane to the hotel

its already 1 oclock in Rome
extremely tired
guess what
I am awake

after 1 hour and a half sleep
shit not so soon I have a full day to do
How am I going to survive this day that I have been dreaming of ?

first, you meet one of your colleague that is Italian
and you hit the coffee shop next to your hotel
1 euro

at 1 euro a cappucino
this is not what will brake your piggy bank

 perfect eye opener to see all the sales that are going on if you can afford it of course

great palazzo are back love it unfortunately the pic is not great its large in the bottom

i couldnt find my specialities grocery store but someone suggested this one next to castroni

the man on the right is so friendly and helpful
even tho he didnt have the best olive oil i was looking for he did have som very interesting thing to taste

so
i bought some truflle cheese peperocino cheese live oil and a bottle of wine

 all wrap up like a regalo

time to put everything at the hotel and walk in the old part of Rome where i will meet some friend for a cocktail

ah the battle of Italian coffee between tazza d oro where the coffee come form Yemen and St Eustachio coffee...under investigation frpm my behalf not quite finish stay connected for more infos on the subject
but Ethiopian is the best to my taste

perfect we need another eye opener before we go for dinner but hold on
did not find my specialty grocery store yet but found one that I will probably go over and over again check this out

ok very close to the Pantheon lies ahead of you this amazing grocery store
continue to the end and voila another hidden secret of Rome
next time I am definetely having dinner here can not go wrong here

 the salami i tasted was real good

im sure they provide the ingredients to this renown restaurant next door to the right
this is the restaurant #12 of Italy
inside is uggly but
place of full maybe 20 persons max
but apprently the place to eat well
you couldnt hear people talk it felt weird
but here is the menu for the dare devil

 this restaurant was full wish i went there

large group decision for where are we going to eat tinight can be problematic
but what is the purpose of going many times to Rome if you are going to eat at the same place all the time this is so boring not adventurest
come on you need to do trial and error but you need to try more than one before you settle into an old habit of going to the same old restaurant over and over again...
im here to try new things

dont we ave different taste...
we can not have the same taste

for one it can be delicious for others it can be horrible ...
food experience is an extreme sport actually!


we finally stopped here
it started nice

and they had friola de zucca
perfect
but because of a large group doesnt mean you have to cook shit right
our friola de zucca was very tasty but very oily
and my pizza very tasty with aragula and cheese but
dam he didnt know how to make a pizza doe
how can that be Im in italy!

my mom says its the new style
but for god sake tell the customer at least
and again the choice of wine
louzy syrah
i really dont like that wine
and his fuzzy water was flat
the rare bread that was in the basket was dry
and the man charge us for water and bread an exhorbitant price
at least we were in good company
but god
we are in Italy can we stop talking about work on my off time to enjoy the dolce vitta of Italy oh well
what can I say maybe my 1 hour and a half sleep is kicking i need to get up and see the beautiful tresors of Roma please can we go ...now ....
